From the Manufacturer The Bridgeport Fittings 324 1-1/4-Inch Plastic Bushing has a threaded female installation. It has a trade size of 1-1/4-Inch and a temperature rating of 105 degrees Celsius. It is used on rigid conduit/IMC. CSA approval UL 514-B. Bridgeport Fittings, Inc. was founded by Adelbert R. Auray and Neil G. Hayes in 1925 as The Bridgeport Switch Company. Initially, the product line consisted of electrical switches, bells, buzzers, wall switches and receptacles. The company shifted manufacturing direction in 1936, when it was decided to emphasize conduit and cable fittings for the electrical industry. Malleable iron, steel, aluminum and brass fittings replaced the original residential electrical components. Later, in 1948, the company changed its name to Bridgeport Fittings, Inc.
